For the last 40 years, Gallup surveyed Americans about their belief in the Bible. In 2017, for the first time in the Gallup’s history, more Americans believed the Bible was a book of fables, legends, and moral principles recorded by man (26%) than believed the Bible is the Word of God and relevant to everyday life (24%). More Americans see the Bible as irrelevant than prior generations! Is reading the Bible a waste of time and energy? What happens when we neglect reading the Bible?
