Some people make you sick. They are a burden. They whine. They have no friends for obvious reasons. They claim than want to change but they never do anything about it. In this passage, Jesus heals an irritable cantankerous old man. The good news is Jesus loves irritable, cantankerous, whining people. Thank goodness he does! Each of us has times when we are like that. When we are at our worst, Jesus is at his best.
