In 1994-1995, Robin Leach starred in the television series, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The program featured those who lived in excess. Their overdone lifestyles became a mocking form of entertainment. Reacting to the excesses of our culture, Christians pride themselves on frugality. In so doing, we may have become men and women of cheap worship who make too little of Jesus. In this part of the Bible, the apostle John teaches us the more we know Jesus , the more extravagant our lives will become.
